School Assemblies:
Pockets Full of Fun would love to provide a school assembly for your school.  Remember we provide programs that Entertain, Encourage and EDUCATE!! Whether you are looking for a program which focuses on Character Education or Reading Promotion - a Pockets Full of Fun program will be fun for all elementary students!!  Just let me know what you are looking for. 


Pockets Full of Fun is also an approved Teaching and Performing Artist for the Iowa Arts Council. I would love to visit your school for an Artist In Residency (3 days, 4 days or a whole week)

Preschool and Day Care Puppetry Workshops:
I would love to visit your center with my Puppetry workshop based on Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes. The children will all make puppets first based on the stories and rhymes. Then they will learn how to perform with them. The workshop will conclude with a performance by all the children - this can be a program that families are invited to or a program that is simply shared with the other classes at the center.

I would love to visit your school with my author program called "Chickens and Goats and Cows, Oh My!".  During this program I talk about my two children's books and Lily mentions her book as well! I encourage the students to write their own stories and together we discover a few ways to actually write a story.  Follow-up activities will be given to the teachers for use in their classrooms and as always, ALL children receive prizes.  Books may be ordered ahead of time and will be signed for the children. I will send order forms which may be sent home with the students. Schools will receive a complimentary copy of each book for their library.

Author Visit Programs:

With the publication of my two children's books I have created a program which highlights the books but also incorporates help from my friends from Pockets Full of Fun as well as some magical surprises.  Schools and libraries which book an author show will receive a hardcover copy of each book.
Book sales can be made available also. Order forms are available to give to students and the books will be signed and handed out the day of the visit.
