"Pockets Full of Fun is a fantastic program for all groups of kids and adults. Lisa is very creative and a master performer. She entertained and kept the children's attention for the full 45 minutes! The program was also educational and was the perfect way to end our Summer Reading Program."
Mary Holzman - Alton Public Library

"Lisa and Pockets Full of Fun were fantastic! Kids from preschool through 4th grade plus the adults in the audience were completely spellbound with her show. Her ventriloquism with the puppets was captivating, the magic was highly skilled, her stories and interaction with the kids was great."
Jeannie Frerichs - Akron Public Library

"We had Lisa and her Pockets Full of Fun for our Summer Reading Program kickoff at the Sioux Central School in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. I cannot say enough about Lisa. She is professional and prompt, her stage and backdrop are wonderful. And her puppets are the most fun of any I have ever seen. Her magic was excellent. The children were preschool through 5th grade and they were the absolutely the best behaved I have ever seen them. Lisa made them part of the show and interacted with them from the very start. She met them at the door with a puppet. From then on they were under her spell. Her magic had us all enthralled and everyone in the crowd felt they were part of the magic and creativity. I heard from so many of the teachers and the children how much they loved her and the program.:
Martha Landsness - Sioux Rapids Memorial Library

Pockets Full of Fun was created by Lisa Laird as a ministry to children.  Her goal is to reach children with a message of hope  and encouragement in fun and engaging ways which will stick with them long after the program is over.

Through the use of puppets, magic tricks and stories,  the children participate actively in learning.

The prizes handed out the end of each program are visual reminders of the message.

"Lisa Laird came to our third grade classroom with her puppets and entertained us! And yet more importantly she taught us. Through her puppets she very effectively reiterated the positive characteristics of friendship. Her enthusiasm was contagious and genuine. She kept everyone's attention for the 45 minute duration. I would highly recommend her. "

"I highly recommend Lisa and her 'Pockets Full of Fun' program.  Our children (ages 4-second grade) were captivated by the puppets, illusions, stories and especially the live guinea pig. Lisa demonstrated remarkable skill as a ventriloquist and used the puppets and illusions in very creative and engaging ways."
Karen Clark - Trinity Reformed Church

"Lisa and 'Pockets Full of Fun' came to our Logos program to present a lovely program for our 2nd-5th graders.  They enjoyed the magic tricks and the puppets. They LOVED being asked to be a volunteer. We hope she will be able to return again."  Charlene Palsma - Alton Reformed Church
